Peter Thomson, M.B.A., L.L.B
Peter puts client focus at the forefront of his agenda and believes that a modern law practice includes a strong communication channel with his clients to keep them well-informed on their matter.
A Halifax native, Peter is a proud Haligonian who is deeply vested within the Halifax community. Peter completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Saint Mary’s University before pursuing an M.B.A. and law degree at Dalhousie University. He was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society in 2010 and has been embracing a small firm environment ever since, where he continues to build a successful practice.
Peter specializes in transactional law, with primary areas of focus in property and corporate work, where he represents various individuals, businesses and institutions throughout the Province ranging from first time buyers to larger lending institutions on both residential and commercial transactions as well as general counsel for ongoing operations. Peter is a board member of the Real Estate Lawyer Association of Nova Scotia (RELANS) and volunteers his legal services for the Reachability program of Nova Scotia.
